God has chosen men to lead, at home and in the the church. At Bethel, Our desire is to disciple Men. We provide opportunities to minister and gather together. We have a Men’s breakfast fellowship on the first Saturday of every month at the church building, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The men enjoy a delicious breakfast together.
God uses our ladies in so many wonderful ways. They meet the third Saturday of every month, 9:30 a.m., at the church building. Activities throughout the year in clude retreats, personal Bible studies, Special tea get togethers, Cookie exchange, Ladies cooking fellowship. We invite you to join in and experience for yourself the good things that the Lord is doing in our lives here at Bethel.
As the future of The Church, it is important that our young people grow and mature as Disciples of Jesus. Bible study and prayer are important. As our young men and women gather together to Fellowship, they encourage each other to live Godly, to seek God, and to walk Spirit filled lives.
Our desire is to see teenagers grow in their relationship with the Lord. On Wednesdays at 7:30pm, we have our teen service. We also plan various activities, rallies, and retreats, in order to build relationships with one another and, even more importantly, to build up their faith in God.
We take Our Messiah’s gospel to our City through literature distribution and personal witnessing in our neighborhoods, in the Jewish community, on the transit system, and on the streets of New York City. We also hold annual evangelistic meetings with special guest speakers.

We have Sunday school classes for children from Three years old through sixth grade. Bible centered classes. We have truth Trackers curriculum. To teach our young people lessons from God’s Word. Additionally, they bless the congregation by ministering through songs and Bible recitation. Ages four to six and grades 1 through 3 are welcome. We feature a week of fun and Games. As we reach out to our community through our Sumner Adventure club for children in 4th to 6th grade.
We seek to minister to our community through Street fairs, tract distribution, Care packages to our local Police and Fire Departments. Our thank God for Israel day. our special Mother’s and father’s Day Services, and many other special events.
As the Body of Christ it is our responsibility to stand in the gap and pray for our community, our nation, our leaders, family, friends, believers and unbelievers. we take this very seriously. We gather together regularly to pray. Join us and see God miraculously answer prayer.
